As the dragon year starts, I'm turning 20 this year.. time really flies and I'm entering NS this year !

What kind of resolution this year? Nothing much? Can't really carry out my career plan due to NS.

Just really hope to spend more time with my loves one. Stay Happy . Have a healthy bank . Stay Healthy.

Looking at things with a better view? Growing up and becoming a better person. Family will be my biggest part of my life this year I hope.

Living in this Small City...

Travelling only takes less than 2 hour from one end to another end is the place where I stay since I was born..
Backpacking will be one of the things I would do in future.
A different way of travelling with others..
Not looking into planning every minute, every second of my time when I'm overseas.
No itinerary No Schedule. Just Free and Easy.
Making it like I'm living there just that I'm not working.
Walking on the street. Taking photos of people.Enjoy the Culture and relationship between people to people.

Yes that's for the future..

Now. I'm lying on my bed in a small corner of the City. 12.33am. typing this while checking updates from twitter. Webcamming , Listening to Music. And at the other corner, I hear korean song , while parents sleeping.

Nothing special here. Except for the rise of taxi charges. Pictures of Lamborghini taxi appearing on facebook. Everyday here. People complain about work. People Complain about Love. People jumping off rivers. I guess that's more or less what I hear in this small city.

19 years and counting on.
Now I ride a bike. and I will continue riding on.

I have a bunch of great friends and love ones. You know who you are. Thank You.
I have a Great Family. Fortunate me.
My name might not be the nicest but I'm proud I'm given a name.

And yes. I am feeling happy with my life now. Unpredictable life. We shall see years later...

A year older !

I'm 19th ! Can't believe I reach 19th already ! Feels so good to be 18 and yet Sometime i wish i was an adult already like 20 plus ? haha ! Contradicting oh ~

I just had a new dye of colour ! Finally get to try ash after so many years of waiting !

Bleaching was.. the feeling cant explain. You try it urself haha !

Half way through .. this is after bleaching. ! I think from picture you guys would say this is nicer ! haha Yes I do like this colour too ! can consider next time ! :D

But !! not I'm grey !!

Life's Easier and More Interesting With OCBC Mobile / Internet Banking !

Last Week I attended the Internet/ Mobile Banking new interface launched by OCBC !!

It was a chill and easy night listening to the folks from OCBC introducing and doing demos to us about how the whole thing came about and the different navigation in the new interface of their Internet and Mobile banking.
Surveys were done . Research were made. Finally a more user friendly and straight to the point form of serving the user better.

I will just highlight some of the features that I think is more attractive for the user to play around with !

Firstly a big chart infront of the dashboard ! Showing your records of how much you have and how much you owe ( eg. Credit cards etc. )

Clean and Easy

Next is what I always wanted to do when doing bank transfer I think all youngster do this, which is transfer money to other account. The usual problem I get is I cant transfer to other bank accounts when doing online shopping but now OCBC make it easier by having a widget at the side !

Simply Insert Value and Select ! and a BIG GREEN Tick will appear if success and a RED BIG CROSS will appear if failed. Simply straightforward. No more Stupid ERROR with chim chim english pop out . Then you go thinking. Walao what is this? Forget it. Dont transfer already. Right?

Next Is another interesting feature that I like the most ! Savings Goals Widget !

Look at this ! This is so fun ! It's also a good way to "force" yourself to save for something you like !

So for example a car ! The money that is put into savings will not be able to take out unless you decide to use it for emergency ! It will be deducted from the amount of money that you are able to withdraw !

Youngster nowadays need this badly I feel !

And So this is the two main features that I am in love with ! This is also available on Iphone and Android ! Download the app now !

Get Your Sexy Back? Competition? Nope. It's a Campaign By Asia Pacific Breweries AKA APB to encourage youths to take control in revitalized anti binge drinking ! In Short to be responsible when you consume alcohol ! In it's fourth year this year, they have been focusing on the importance of taking control of alcohol among the youth.

" According to MOH, binge drinking is defined as consumption of five or more alcoholic drinks for males, or four or more alcoholic drinks for the female , in one drinking session. "

This year the Get Your Sexy Back campaign seek to highlight the positive aspect of taking control of how much alcoholic drinks you consume. Carl Zeiss Blogger Gathering Event

Thanks to Shiriro House , I get a chance to have a hands on of the Carl Zeiss Lenses !

The folks from CaKe Studio , Callan, Kevin and Jing Wen were there to talk about their experience with the Carl Zeiss Lenses as Well ! Frankly Speaking yes I was poisoned ! haha ! Anyway here's some of the photos I got using the Carl Zeiss 50mm and 100mm Macro. Some were shot from the Canon 50mm L F1.2 as well

Recently Cupcakes become the in thing to have huh ! You probably heard about the colourful design cupcakes by Shiberty but do not forget the classic simple cupcakes ! I was glad to be invited to taste the cupcakes by BakedbyLace !

Many cakes can taste softer warmed, which is why many places outside re-heat their cakes for awhile before serving it! "

Classic Vanilla Bean : Made using real vanilla beans in both cake n frosting

The Classic Vanilla Bean is a must try for the vanilla lovers. Personally I am not a fan of Vanilla but I must talk about the vanilla that it does not taste too creamy in fact it comes with a mild butter taste and the cakes were delicious ! It's a little bit soft though as I prefer firmer cupcakes :)

Salted Caramel : A vanilla base cupcake topped with salted caramel frosting, a drizzle of caramel & flakes of sea salt

The topped salted caramel taste just nice with the cake. you can feel the equal taste in your mouth not too salt and the cake does not cover over the taste of the caramel ! Caramel lover will love this !

Cookies N Cream : Madagascar vanilla bean frosting atop a cupcake full of oreo bits!

This was said to be popular ! Oreo bits was added into the cupcakes ! Every bite you would feel the Oreo with the cakes. The Oreo was overwhelming though making the cake lose out to the Oreo , but for strong flavour customers this is okay.

Chocolate Fudge : A chocolate cake with a chocolate fudge topping!

Chocolate cakes lover ! This is a must try ! Chocolate fudge topping on top ! This is great for people who love chocolate. I think it was a little too sweet for me but it was delicious ! I would definitely eat this with a cup of iced water with me haha ! I love chocolate cakes more than normal cakes !

Milo : A chocolate & milo cupcake

This cupcake remind me of Milo Dinosaur ! Milo powder added on top of the chocolate cake ! Personally I feel that this is a very challenging cupcake. Firstly, milo powder melts in your mouth. So When you have the first bite. You will just feel the milo and after that it's just the taste of the cake. This would be a lighter choice than the chocolate fudge which is sweeter !

Red Velvet : It's a tender and fragrant cake base made with the addition of some valrhona cocoa powder, red colouring & acid (vinegar), which reacts well with the leavening, and is topped with a cream cheese frosting!

A very nice fragrant the moment you hold this cake up to your mouth ! The sweet little heart on top of the cake makes you can't resist ! My first time eating red velvet ! I think this is the best out of the many cupcakes ! the fragrant with the cocoa powder just matches that well in your mouth. Strongly recommended !

The first part of the project – Flag, will see undergraduates from the university asking for donations all around the island for various beneficiaries. In return, the school puts up a spectacular show - Rag, to thank the kind generosity exemplified by the donors."

Previously I have trouble bringing a laptop with my camera gears to school and because of that I had to sacrifice bringing some of the things. Now that I have this bag. I no longer have this trouble.

This is how much things I fit in.

You might think wif all this it's very heavy and uncomfortable for your bag. Let me share with you. I am a small build boy LOL ! Yes It's a little bit heavy for me after a whole day of carrying , but the good thing is that the thick and comfortable padding behind do help alot. I have been using this bag for nearly a month and I seldom feel that my shoulder are aching.

The material is like a sponge ! So damn comfortable !

Now I am going to talk about the favourite part which I like about this bag.

You will wonder what is this clip here is doing..

It's actually a small pocket that you can open and retrieve your gears and accessories conveniently ! You can choose to put anything here ! handphone or lens or even cameras !

I dont have to put down the whole bag to get the stuff from the bag !

I love this idea a lot !

Let me conclude this bag with the pros and cons !

Pros :

-The single side pocket with the clip is a plus point for the bag.

-The quality of the padding is very suitable for people who do travelling which is actually the main target selling point for this bag. However for events shooter like me. I find it very useful as well. The amount of gears that it can hold and with a laptop of 17" is amazing ( I have never though I could put my belt pouch in )

Cons :

One of the features they gave was the water repellent coating to the bag to resist moisture. I would prefer it to have the rain cover that lowepro and thinktank provide for their bag. But as I had mentioned the target for this bagpack is not for user who is going to shoot in harsh weather condition.

I would say this bag is a very suitable bag for travelers and users like me who shoot indoors event mostly. It's like a carry-on luggage for photographers.

I have never seen anyone putting so much effort in planning their birthday before =.= From the design of the words to the packaging of the drinks !

I came early to prepare ! and her girlfriends were already there !

It's a korean restaurant ! We had a small celebration, just drinks and a small cake to end it off ! haha !

GaGa Experience !

I was at Lady GaGa Showcase at MBS previously !!! It was totally awesome ! I am a greater fan of her now ! Her live performance was that good man ! So unique and her design of the stage is so AWESOME !

Okay too much use of awesome but it's amazing to see her live infront of me so near and performing many top hits song like Just dance, Judas, Born this way, Telephone, Alejandro and more ! A total of 7 songs were sang that day.

And on by the way she is here for Amped 2.0 brought to you by Singtel ! And she also announced that her world tour concert in Singapore will be next year !

I attended the press conference in the noon ! and this is her outfit !

It was a very very short conference though, we waited 2 to 3 hours and it only lasted 7.5mins !

And well as what we didn't expect was , Fun pack song was mentioned LOL ! I shall not go into details.

The reporter failed to finish his question anyway :P

They were singing born this way by gaga and I was like telling Jayden that : their parents would not wish that they were born this way cause they are all singing , " baby I was born this way " LOL ! Earlier this month, We had the First Social Media Day in Singapore! Woohoo ! It was held at scape ! Games and wonderful performance were conducted to celebrate this day ! Many people from the social media like twitter, facebook , blogging and youtube supporter came down to support the event ! I was honoured to be the official photographer for the event together with other photographer like Conan and Genghui, not forgetting the instant print section by 1st Journal !

It's my first time here at Tanjong pagar railway station !

I always wanted to come here but could not find the time to !

and I learn that they are ending operation end of this month !

So me and Hong an walk around inside first before heading to the track.

Republic of Singapore Air Force Open House 2011 !

Hell Yeah ! Finally Photobucket is up ! I can blog about this lo !!

I went to Air Force open house ! Finally haha !

I guess, many guys dream to be in the air force right ! No doubt ! me too !

and many girls want to get a boyfriend or husband from air force right ! especially when he is the pilot !!

haha ! yea we all dream ! HAHA

Amazing helicopter and jet planes ! I love planes ! from young I have been hearing airforce airforce is the best in NS !

They are like the higher class people in NS LOL ! compared to those chiong sua one !

And this year there is aerial display show ! I die die must go right ! What's more I saw my friend's blogger preview !

So here is the storyline, there is a plane coming into Singapore wanting to attack but RSAF warned them and they ignore so they send their planes to destroy them !!

iOS 5 New feature ?

There's been a lot of people saying all the new feature that was announced yesterday already existed ! Apple only improved it and make it free and combine all into iOS 5.

I didn't know it until I saw this apps call airsync in my android market !

This airsync works similarly like the one announced yesterday where you do not need to connect your cable to your phone to sync your itunes music !

However reviews for this airsync apps were not 5 star though..

So was the new features stunning to you? To me yesterday while watching , yes ! I was impressed with ICloud pushing their apps to all apple devices. But what if you backup your stuff in the cloud and the server fails and your business idea and stuff is in there..

hoho , that will be really stunning to you I guess?

Oh well, these is just how I feel haha ! Nothing 's perfect right ! As long as it's free You and Me are happy !

Plixi shift to Lockerz

Hello ! Those who followed me on twitter will know that I complained about my timeline user using lockerz as their default photo uploader ?

yes ! As of 1st may the plixi that we all used have shifted to lockerz .

It was said that plixi merged with lockerz company therefore changing it's name !

New features was also introduced ! according to what I found on the net !

" Lockerz has a social incentive — PTZ, or points, can be earned by watching videos, listening to music and inviting friends. And the points can be used to lower the price of onsite merchandise; in effect, social activity acts like coupons for Lockerz’s users. "

okay but who understand what this means? LOL! I dunno serious ! what coupons !? does that apply to users in Singapore ?

Through my experience I just dont like that it that it does not show your twitpic on the preview on my phone !

that means if you twitpic if you use lockerz.com I have to open it in a new tab !

For twitpic and yfrog it will appear on my phone ! which is more convenient !

Instagram now also have this preview thing on my phone already which is great for photos sharing !

I dont know if lockerz would fix this too ! but if not people ! please change to twitpic or yfrog !

Just go to your setting and change the default uploader to others ! :D

I just feel it's better for photo sharing ! and I would want to see your twitpic..

those using lockerz I would not want to click and open new tab and load !

Doomsday Changed to October? What Will You do?

So it was said by Harold Camping that the world ends at may 21st which is few days ago ! but did you see anything strange on the sky? Maybe you did but not me? I was playing games LOL !

And then the news came out that Harold Camping said it was five months later which is October 21st ! ?

Oh yea.. he made a few wrong predictions already !

( oh well if he predict correctly , you would see this post right?)

So do you believe ?

For me , it doesn't affect me. Life still goes on ! If it's fated then fated right? You tell me October 21st and there is no 100% confirm guarantee chop chop the world will end !

If it is 100% I will really go do what I want LOL!

Like try committing a crime? ( nah just kidding )

Try some things I never done before?

Like just grab a bike and speed and enjoy what I like?

Yup I think I will really find my favourite bike and ride ! I will do all the things I wish to do !

I have friends telling me they want to have sex before they die LOL !

Woohoo ! I'm Back people !

Ever Heard of the new games concept cafe call Play Nation ? I think it's new ah haha ! it's a place where you can play games and dine while you play ! I think it's super convenient and very good concept lor !

The first time I went to such cafe is Mind Cafe at Boat Quay ! They have alot alot of board games for you to play and choose a main course to dine while you play ! for a few hours for the price of 1 !

If you need a place to spend your day away , I will recommend this kind of cafe !!

There is one call St Games at The Cathay. They need you to purchase the 5 dollars members before you can go in if you are a first timer ! I personally think it's a fail strategy to make your customer come back lor !

You can either like make it if you play finish for the first time, you can choose to purchase the member at a cheaper price ! instead of asking people to buy before they even tried your game !

And okay ! Enough of craps ! So last week I went to Play Nation to play !! happy hour ! 15 bucks in total for 4 hours ah I think. With free flow of drinks , I didnt get any meal :) meal is $6.50 Extra !

Unlike the Mind Cafe which only have board games, Playnation provide both board games and console like xbox, wii and kinect ! They also have rooms ! must need to reserve I think ! more privacy ! haha !

If not you can choose to play like this !

And ya that's us haha !

We chose Rockband and Rayman !

it was a well spent 15 bucks for 4 hours.. You can change games if you want to.. as long as it's available !

It's quite comfortable actually haha !

Most of the games there allow up to 4 players to play at one time so no worries ! Bring your friends along !

A FYP Disaster .

Why a FYP disasaster?! haha the story goes like that..

One day, my team and I went on a field trip for our FYP to do last minute data collection! after data collection, we wanted to continue the template which we were still lacking behind therefore we were thinking where to do the work ! And One of my teammate named Saffwan ( REMEMBER THIS NAME LOL ! the later part of the post you will noe why :P ) mentioned he wanted to have a look at the shoes he finding at chinatown and so we thought it would be better if we do our work there and shop with him later..

And yup , so we train-ed down to chinatown , settled at mcdonald since there is no halal food =.= tat explains why it's call chinatown. LOL !

So we happily Do fyp and eat mcdonald ! :)

Then jeanice started taking photos !! LOL !

and So we went hunting for Saffwan 's Doc mart shoe !

And I happen to see my boots which I kinda like it ! But was deciding whether to get anot ! and then this saffwan said out this sentence :

and I go zz !

Later on, while I was thinking ! Jeanice try on something too ! and then she went on saying

" Ehh You 2 buy I also buy la ! "

okay now the chains get longer and longer right.. You think that's the end ah !? pregnant ah you ! wait long !

Now the uncle asked liangyu why dont you also get one la ! then liangyu just randomly say his shoe size very big ! and he pointed his design and the uncle asked how big he wants?

Liangyu say the biggest ! WHICH IS GOD DAMN SIZE 12 !!!!

Food Experience @ The Fat Boy - Burger Bar

Introducing Fat Boy the Burger bar !

Mayb some of you guys might have tried it , heard it. But I have not ! And I was invited to a food session there with calvintimo !

Just a simple board menu at the bar !

We arrived pretty early and I had a tried of this qoo which i guess is new? I didnt see before haha

After waiting for awhile, the chef starts to bring out the ingredient onto the table for a demo of how they make burgers patty !

The basic ingredient ..

the 3 bread that fat boy burgers sells. Honey oat , normal burger bread and the wholemeat bread if im not wrong.

before the demo, as usual we work ! take photos ! haha here's calvin working ! :P

Then the demo started , owner of fat boy burger, explains some of the technique he used that is different from most of the burger stores out there used.

Step 1 : grab roughly 150grams on your hand.

Step 2 : Roll it into a ball with your both hands.

Step 3 : Put into the mould shaper.

Tadah ! You have your nice patty there !

Now for Calvin to try !

Chicken Drumlets ! (Y) awesome !! Super juicy !! When you bite, got the little oil wif the juice just burst off in your mouth !! with the seasoning ! woohoo !

Cheese Sticks ! This is power I tell you. Looks normal on the outside and then you bite and pulll !!!!!! stretch-able like dunno what ! like a pizza !!! damn nice !

Aint these burgers cute !?!? this is beef i think.

Fried calamari ! they are huge ! I thought is fish or what ! lol

Honey oat ! This is lamb ! :)

This is pork ! (Y) damn full when this is served. lol ! However the tomato sauce was weird combination with this !

Tabao? no.. haha ! Cos too full already !

The burgers were great but sadly they do not sell it in such sizes except for functions ! they have the normal size burger though ! definitely recommended to try. I love it when the patty is thick and juicy!

The cheese sticks was shiok ! not forgetting the honey oat bread too ! it is special because you might have think it's chocolate right. but it's actually caramel added inside !

$4 Manhattan Fish Market Deal !

Many of friends should have know Manhattan fish market is out of my favourite dine out place ! Because why ? It's cheap and nice ! Not like Fish & Co. Expensive but actually taste more or less like MFW ! Mayb because I cant taste the difference? Service also not as good as MFW ! AHh blah Watever right? HAha ! I still love MFW more !!

So When I heard about this $4 dollar meal fish & chips from calvintimo , I was thinking how can I miss this ? I'm a big fan of manhattan ! This is my favourite meal I will order in manhanttan. Because's it's cheap hah! Oh yea. I'm that cheap ! Poor what :P Original Price at $10 :) And just nice I'm meetin dawn the next day ! So We decided to have that for dinner ! :D :D

Again ! everytime my face look so unnatural :S dunno why haha !

As usual I will add in the perfect catch for 4 or 5 bucks more got one soup and drinks :)
